Meeting Center
The “Istanbul Spine Masters” & “ISMISS Turkey 2018” will be held between the dates of May 10-13, 2018 at Koç University Hospital ( http://kuh.ku.edu.tr/en )

Visa Information For Foreigners

• As of April 17, 2013, electronic visa (e-Visa) replaces “sticker visa” which was issued at the border crossings.  Applicants just need to log on to www.evisa.gov.tr , provide the requested information, (after the application is approved) make online payment and download their e-Visa.

• Please note that e-visa is only valid when the purpose of travel is tourism or commerce. Other purposes, such as work and study, require regular visa given by Embassies or Consulates.

• Passports should be valid at least six months longer than the expiry date of the requested visa.

• The term "official passports" covers diplomatic, service, special and official passports.

• Regardless of the visa regime applied towards the citizens of a country, the travel document holders of that country need to obtain visa from Turkish missions beforehand.

• Foreigners who will shoot a documentary film conduct a research or an archeological excavation should get a special permission from the Turkish authorities in advance.

Meeting Language
The official language of the both meetings will be English.

The average temperature in Istanbul during at the mid of May is around 20-25C at daytime.

Electricity
220w is used to operate the technical equipments in Turkey.

Certificate of Attendance
A certificate of attendance will be presented to all registered participants.

Letter of Invitation
Upon request, the organization committee will be pleased to send a personal invitation to all participants, to facilitate visa and other formalities. This letter should not be considered as an offer of financial support from the organizers. Access and Transportation
Atatürk International Airport located 24 km southwest of city has a new terminal. Getting from the airport to the city entails a metro, havas or taxi trip combination. Also shuttle transfers will be available from airport to hotel and from hotel to airport upon request. One way transfer (airport hotel or hotel - airport) is 47.-Euro including VAT per person.
